Peace Be (to the scripture slinging blamers)

Peace Be (to those who tell me God healed them when they know I suffer)

Peace Be (to those using scripture to say I am sick because I am unforgiving)

Peace Be (to those using scripture to say I am sick because I lost hope in God)

Peace Be (to those who say I am still sick because of anything at all to do with the state of my heart or soul)

Peace Be (to those who malign God’s character by using their bible as a weapon)

Peace Be (to those saying I am still sick because if I “just do this exact thing” like them I’d be well)

Peace Be (to the victim blamers who tell us we could just pray complex, often debilitating trauma away)

Peace Be (to the victim blamers who tell us we could just pray chronic, often debilitating pain and fatigue away)

Peace Be (to all of us who have been told it’s our fault we suffer and suffer more pain because of it)

Peace Be (to all of us who have been pummeled with someone’s bible)

Peace Be (to our collective meditative breathing so we don’t pummel them back)

Peace Be (to all of us trying our best to manage our illnesses)

Peace Be (to we sufferers who are strong warriors because of our suffering)
