Green

I am green
the green of leaves
and grass
and the stems of
wildflowers

I am green
the reaching
stretching
pushing
of green trees
extending their arms
of grass reaching toward
sun
of stems
supporting the
wildflowers
scattered
in more green

I am green

I inhale green

I exhale green

I am green
I am growing
I am reaching
toward the next
day of sunlight
